My established client in the finance / insurance industry since 2010, is looking for an on-site Insurance Administrator in Pinelands, Cape Town to take on a maternity cover contract. The successful candidate will have 3+ years' experience and be responsible for managing insurance claims, providing excellent customer service, maintaining organised records, and supporting finance-related tasks. Daily tasks include processing insurance paperwork, handling customer inquiries and co-ordinating with insurance providers to ensure smooth operations.

This is a 4-month maternity cover contract based in Pinelands, Cape Town.

Requirements

  • Min. 3 years’ experience
  • FAIS compliant
  • Strong knowledge of short-term insurance products and legislation
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to take up 4-month maternity contract

Benefits

  • Salary: R15,000 – R18,000

Responsibilities

  • Process new business, renewals and policy amendments
  • Handle client queries and provide professional advice
  • Manage claims administration from start to finish
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
  • Ensure compliance with FAIS, FICA and other regulatory requirements
  • Liaise with underwriter and insurers for quotations and policy updates
