My Maitland based client is looking for a qualified Chef with Kitchen Management experience to manage their new prep kitchen. You will need be a South African citizen with at least 3 years’ experience managing a prep kitchen, and open to working irregular hours..

Requirements

  • Qualified chef with strong culinary skills
  • 3 - 5 years’ experience managing a professional kitchen - preferably in a prep / production environment
  • Oversee daily operations
  • Stock control
  • Food quality control
  • Equipment maintenance
  • Staff management
  • Excellent leadership and organisational skills
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Valid driver’s license and own transport
  • Able to work irregular hours

Bonuses

  • No work on Sunday
